Richard Angers worked on numerous fiction films and documentaries as editor, sound designer, composer, screenwriter, and director before making his first full-length fiction film. After making a number of shorts, he directed children’s programs and wrote two documentary series. He went on to develop the drama, La Chambre no 13, which received ten Gemini nominations and three Gemini awards. He directed two shows in the series, as well as two documentaries Snowbird, non merci! and Les accros de l’Anachronisme. More recently while writing a number of full-length fiction films, he wrote and directed the documentary series Fou des oiseaux and finished directing A Pact Among Angels (Le Pacte des anges), his first full-length fiction film.
