Mélanie Laurent


Mélanie Laurent is an accomplished actress, who won Most Promising Actress in 2007 for Je vais bien, ne t’en fais pas. She has appeared in well over 30 movies, including Inglorious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino and Paris by Cédric Klapisch.

In 2008 Mélanie Laurent directed her first two short movies. 2011 marks the year she co-wrote, directed and performed in her first feature film called Les Adoptés. In 2013, she adapted the arresting novel Respire, written by
Anne-Sophie Brasme when she was 16. Her meeting with Cyril Dion back in 2011, who at the time was the head of the NGO Colibris, was the start of a successful collaboration, as they shared the drive to find solutions for the planet.
